Flight-Deck Printer
The RTP80M thermal cockpit printer is a full-page, monochrome, hardcopy output device designed for use in Military aircraft applications. It incorporates the most advanced ruggedization and thermal printing technology available. This equipment is constructed using environmental management techniques that protect internal components from the effects of shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference. The RTP80M is certified or in the advanced stages of certification by the FAA, EASA, and COMAC for use on KC10, C130 and many other airframes.
The RTP80 can support graphics printing with the built-in Ethernet print server option. The paper loading process for the RTP family of cockpit printers is the simplest and easiest of any printer on the market. RITEC cockpit printers incorporate anti-jamming technology that virtually eliminates paper delivery problems. The printhead and paper-path mechanism never require calibration or adjustment. External power and data interfaces are provided through a single connector. Separate connectors are available as an ordering option.
