The Model EIB or Electronic Flight Bag Interface Box is the next generation of ARINC 834 servers. With the ability to connect through USB, GbE, Wi-Fi and ARINC interfaces, it is designed to simplify the connection of the aircraft to onboard tablets and laptops while transmitting off aircraft through Wi-Fi, GbE, Satcom and any future methods as they become available. The architecture of this data concentrator and server is a bottom-up design to help get ahead of current and emerging Cyber Security challenges making over the air updates safe and practical. The EIB provides top-in-class processing power, data storage and throughput with a level of robustness that is unparalleled. This system can run onboard analytics and AI in the Fog until it can connect with Cloud and ground-based systems.
