Rugged Terabyte Mass Data Storage Unit
The MDSU can be provided in either a conduction cooled ATR or air cooled convection chassis. In its baset has provisions for two SBCs and one dedicated RAID card with 3 solid state drives (SSD). By using 1 Tarabyte drives the MDSU provides a total of 3 TB of user storage, but can be reconfigured to host one SBC and two RAID cards for a total capacity of up to 6.0 TB. DThe MDSU is controlled by a Core 2 Duo Pentium Processor with four Gigabytes of SDRAM through the CPCI bus. The MDSU works on the ground in rugged mobile environments and in the thin air altitudes of airborne applications.
